Door Leaf Structure

HPL Hospital Doors have a multi-layered structure with a total thickness of 45 mm. Both faces feature 0.6 mm HPL coating, beneath which lies a 3–4 mm MDF interlayer, and in the center a 35 mm OKAL Sheet fire-resistant core. Leaf edges are reinforced with solid wood for structural integrity against impacts.

Impact Protection and Durability

0.6 mm steel impact protection plates are located in the middle and bottom sections of door leaves. These plates protect the door surface in hospital environments with heavy stretcher, wheelchair, and material cart traffic. The non-porous structure of HPL coating prevents bacterial harboring and is resistant to common hospital disinfectants.

Frame and Installation

1.8 mm galvanized steel frame is coated with thermostatic paint. Flush mounting to the wall panel system is provided with an aluminum frame around the door. Safe and long-lasting use with 4 hinges, sealing guaranteed with EPDM gasket. Threshold-free passage or air-drop guillotine options are available.
