Maintain Cleanroom Integrity
The interlock system prevents doors between areas with different cleanliness classes from opening simultaneously, maintaining the cleanroom's pressure balance and particle control. This system is one of the mandatory requirements of cGMP and ISO 14644 standards.
Working Principle
When one door opens, other doors are automatically locked with the magnetic/electric lock mechanism. The second door cannot open until the first door is fully closed. The LED indicator panel visually reports the real-time status of doors (open/closed/locked).
Flexibility and Integration
The interlock system has an expandable structure from 2 to 8 doors. It can be retrofit applied to existing door systems. It can be integrated into the building management system (BMS) via RS485 or Modbus protocol.
